A short day variety of winter onion intended for autumn sowing and overwintering in the field. The flesh is white, fine and of a delicious flavour.
The variety can be harvested with tops to be bunched together or in the traditional way.
Sowing should be carried out from mid-August till the beginning of September.
A highly productive variety proper for hibernation on the field. It is suitable for production of green onion or early onion designated for direct consumption.
The bulb is round, large, weighing 140-155 g. The color of dry scales is yellow, juicy is white. The taste is semi-sharp. Productivity up to 8 kg/m2.

Did you know that... green onions can be prepared for future use. To do this, peel and wash the onion. The easiest way to freeze is to cut the onion into pieces 5-10 mm long and blanch for half a minute in water, then place tightly in molds and freeze. As needed, chop off the required amount from a common briquette to season soups and hot dishes.
You can thaw frozen onions in a frying pan with a little fat. The shelf life of frozen green onions is 6 months. You can freeze onions grown from bulbs of any variety.
